Practical (General): identify microscopic features of necrosis, acute inflammation, chronic inflammation, granulomatous inflammation (T.B.), hyaline degeneration, hydropic degeneration, melanin, hemosiderin deposition, benign and malignant neoplasia, hyperplasia and TB.
Practical (Haematology): Identify microscopic features of iron deficiency anemia, megaloblastic anemia, acute myeloid and lymphoid leukemias, chronic myeloid leukemia, lymphadenitis, lymphoma (NHL and Hodgkin’s lymphoma) and perform ABO and Rh grouping
Practical (Musculoskeletal): identify gross and microscopic features of lipoma, liposarcoma, fibrosarcoma, benign and malignant fibrous histiocytoma, rhabdomyoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, leiomyoma and leimyosarcoma.
Practical (Neurosensory): identify the microscopic features of meningitis, tuberculoma, astrocytoma, glioblastoma multiforme, oligodendroglioma, ependymoma, meningioma, neurofibroma and schwannoma.
